We are a family owned and operated plumbing business since 1992.
The company’s success has been built on honesty, reliability, referrals, repeat business, reputation and most of all customer satisfaction with every plumbing service we provide. Our services include sewer cleaning, water heater service, kitchen and bathroom plumbing (including servicing and installing sinks, faucets, angle stops, garbage disposals, dishwashers, ice makers, gas lines, toilets, tub valves, shower valves, and drains), backyard plumbing, fixing stoppages & slab leaks, and kitchen/bathroom remodeling. We also specialize in sewer repair/replacement and full service copper re-piping.
Our service technicians are experienced and are paid hourly and not by commission. We do not require our technicians to sell, our company sells itself.
We have 25+ years of experience in the commercial and residential plumbing trade.

How long has Vortex Plumbing been is business?
Vortex Plumbing has been in business, serving the Chino Valley & Orange County for over twenty years. We are family owned; My wife and I own, and operate the company.
What kinds of jobs does Vortex Plumbing do?
At Vortex, we handle all sorts of plumbing jobs, wether you’re looking for a commercial plumber or residential plumber. That means we’ll go from installing all the plumbing for a new restaurant, to fixing a leaky kitchen sink. For us really, no job is too big–no job is too small.
What bothers you about other plumbing companies?
What sets Vortex Plumbing apart from our competitors is that we don’t pay our plumbers a commission. Some plumbers out there will try to sell customers on something they don’t need. We don’t do that. Also, other plumbing companies have an answering service for after hours emergency plumbing. At Vortex, if after 5:00pm you have have an emergency plumbing problem, your phone call goes either to my cellphone, or to my foreman’s cellphone. There’s no waiting around, wondering if we’ve got the call. That’s 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How long have you been with Vortex Plumbing?
I’ve been with vortex for over a year. It’s a great place to be.
What kinds of plumbing problem do you see most often?
The typical problems I see are sewer line stoppages, leaking faucets and pipes. Really, I see a lot of different issues.
What’s your favorite part about working at Vortex Plumbing?
I like being at Vortex–all the guys have been grea. We do anything from new construction in retail and commercial to repipes and reroutes. I enjoy the wide variety of work we get. I enjoy meeting new people, helping them out, and satisfying their needs, because I know a lot of people have trouble with taking care of their plumbing problems.
What kinds of things bother you about other plumbing companies?
The thing that bothers me about other plumbing companies is overpricing. There’s a lot of companies out there that will charge two to three times what we charge. The first day that I plumbed for Mike, I went out to Orange County and replaced a water pressure regulator. I had to call Mike to verify what the price in his pricing book was, because it was so much lower than the previous company I worked for. But Mike assured me that his prices are just that low.

I like working at Vortex because there’s always something different when helping people with their emergency situations, or even in times when they just need something simply swapped out and easily replaced.

In the condos that we service, there’s a lot of leaks in the walls and in the concrete floors. That seems to be our most popular fix lately.
How do you leave a job site after your done?
Well this old plumber I trained with as a kid–one thing he always told me, you leave a job site cleaner than when you got there. So I just make sure everything is clean, so people don’t have to get dirty and trip over stuff–that’s our job.

I always like when I have the opportunity to tell the customer that we’re all done–the problem is solved and they don’t have to worry about it ever again.
